Ireland are back in action against Australia, looking to right the wrongs of last weekend's defeat in Brisbane.

Ahead of that second test, Brian O'Driscoll joined Adrian and Nathan to give his take on last week and look ahead to next match-up against the Wallabies.

But he also discussed the preeminence of Conor Murray, who remains world class at scrum half, and Sean O'Brien who has been somewhat out of sight, out of mind due to a succession of injuries.

On the latter, BOD believes his former Leinster and Ireland team-mate will still be the lead No 7 at international level when fit.

"I think Sean O'Brien is still going to be Ireland's number one 7. I do, I do," he stated.

"He brings great comfort to a lot of the senior players as well. You talk to the Peter O'Mahonys and the Conor Murrays and the Sextons and the Rob Kearneys. Seanie has massive respect and the feeling is he's one of the best sevens in the world when he's fit. Look at his performances in New Zealand. It was exceptionally good."

"There's no way that there's another 9 that's a better defensive player in the world bar Conor Murray," he said.

"As a defensive 9, he is comfortably gold medalist and the rest of his game, we all know."

Not only that but he added that, "I think he's Ireland's most important player."

He also pointed out what Connacht's Kieran Marmion is missing in his armoury at present to be an international standard scrum half.
