Wes Hoolahan found the going tough today as Ireland slipped to a decisive 3-0 defeat to Belgium in our second Euro 2016 group match.
The Ireland playmaker scored in the 1-1 draw with Sweden on Monday but was unable to be an influence against a superior side today in Bordeaux.
"The space wasn't there as much and it was difficult at times. But Belgium are a top quality team and they're No 1 [out of European teams] in the world, so it was difficult," he told Off The Ball.
"They've got players who can hurt you - Hazard and Lukaku - and it was tough to take.
"It was always going to be a tough game. I think first half we limited them to very little chances and then at the start of the second half we had a bit of ball, put pressure on them and started to look like we were going to create something and then they hit us on their counter-attack. It was hard to take."
