Arsene Wenger has seemingly confirmed Jamie Vardy will stay at Leicester City next season after turning down a move to Arsenal.
Wenger told a TV station in China that Vardy will "stay at Leicester" from what he knows.
The Gunners activated the striker's €25 million release clause last month but Leicester returned with a counter contract offer.
Vardy had been expected to make a decision on his future before going to Euro 2016 but chose to wait until after the tournament to reveal his decision.
But based on Wenger's words, it looks like the England forward will be staying put.
"Jamie Vardy is, at the moment, at Leicester and from what I know, he will stay at Leicester," he is quoted as saying.
