Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has praised the conduct of the Gunners away fans after the 2-0 defeat to Southampton.
The defeat leaves the London side outside the Top Four at the start of 2015.
The Frenchman, who was confronted by a fan close to his touchline area towards the end of the game, noted one positive from the stands.
"They were fantastic and I'm sorry we couldn't give them the points that they deserved for their attitude," he said.
