The football world has been left shaken by the news that an airplane carrying members of the Chapecoense club in Brazil, crashed earlier today.
It's believed that 75 people on board were killed while five people are reported to have survived, including three members of the team. Colombia's emergency management have said that they are not ruling out the possibility of finding other survivors.
Chapecoense were travelling to Colombia for the final of the Copa Sudamericana when the aircraft carrying them crashed.
Football clubs around the world have offered to help those connected with the clubs, while there are also reports that the club will not be relegated for three years and other clubs will loan players to Chapecoense.
A tribute video has also been assembled in the aftermath of the tragedy, which documents the club's fairytale journey, culminating in a spot in the final of South America's major tournament.
The Brazilian Football Federation have extended their condolences in a statement:
"Our solidarity and prayers are with the passengers and crew."
