It was a good night for Portugal last night, but for the country's government there were more pressing issues on the table today than football.
Eurozone finance ministers were gathered in Brussels today, where AFP reports an agreement was reached to officially declare Spain and Portugal in violation of EU public spending rules.
The decision could see "unprecedented" sanctions imposed on the two countries.
Before the serious business got underway earlier, however, Portugese finance minister Mário Centeno made a colourful entrance.
Yes, amid the sea of suits, Centeno's Portugal scarf was a colourful acknowledgement of his country's Euro 2016 victory, and a light bit of relief and comradery before what was a rough meeting for his country.
