WATCH: Cristiano Ronaldo scores a hat-trick on his return to the Portugal team

72 seconds.

That's how long it took Cristiano Ronaldo to score on his return to international football.

The Real Madrid star last played for Portugal in the Euro 2016 Final before returning to the team on Friday night for the World Cup qualifier against Andorra in Aveiro.

Having missed the friendly win over Gibraltar and the World Cup qualifier loss to Switzerland through injury, the 31-year-old wasted no time in getting back into the goal-scoring habit.

Not happy with just the one goal, Ronaldo took less than two minutes to score his second as Portugal went on to win the game 6-0 against the lowest-seeded team in Group B.

Ronaldo would go on to score a third goal in the second half, as Portugal moved up to third in the group.

While Andorra are undoubtedly not the strongest of teams in World football, it's brilliant to see Ronaldo back in full flow, despite Real Madrid's stuttering form in Spain.
