More teams have been invited to the festival of football that is the European Championships this time round.
Four years ago, there were just 16 but Euro 2016 plays host to a full set of 24, including Ireland once again and while we can look forward to a few classic games, ex-Scotland, Chelsea and Everton winger Pat Nevin is worried about some of the group games being drab and low quality - especially if some teams deem that three draws will be enough to see them through to the knockout stages.
"The one thing that I am worried about in the negative side is that there are a lot more group games in this one," the analyst told Off The Ball.
"There could be some utter stinkers. There really could be some stinkers. If you find yourself covering one of them where two teams are trying to slug out a draw, nobody wants to play with anymore than one forward, you'll be battering your head against a wall."
