UEFA confirm City and United will be at home in European last-16 ties

The second leg of Manchester City’s Champions League tie with Real Madrid will be played at the Etihad Stadium.

UEFA have confirmed that all outstanding last-16 ties in the Champions League will be played at their original venues.

City's tie with Real is one of four still to be settled in the Champions League, before the competition will set up shop in Lisbon.

Pep Guardiola's side won 2-1 at the Bernabeu way back on February 28, courtesy of goals from Gabriel Jesus and Kevin de Bruyne.

Chelsea will have to travel to the Allianz Arena where they'll need to overturn a 3-0 first leg deficit against Bayern Munich.

The other matches will see Juventus look to come from 1-0 down at home to Lyon, while Barcelona and Napoli are tied at 1-1 ahead of their second leg at the Camp Nou.

Those ties will be played August 7-8, with UEFA to confirm the finer details on Friday.

Wolves and Manchester United will also enjoy home advantage in the Europa League last-16.

Molineux will host Wolves' second leg with Olympiakos, after the sides drew 1-1 in Piraeus on March 12.

While United's second leg with LASK will be mere formality following a 5-0 win in Austria.

Rangers must travel to Germany, where they'll resume their tie with Bayer Leverkusen 3-1 down from the first leg.

The only exceptions will be Inter’s Europa League tie with Getafe, and the meeting of Roma and Sevilla.

As the first legs of those ties weren’t possible prior to lockdown, they’ll both be played as single-leg matches in Germany.
