We've all enjoyed watching John Giles imparting his knowledge and insight on RTE's Soccer panel over the years.
But all good things must come to an end and Euro 2016 marked the end of the Ireland legend's time as part of our football viewing on TV.
With John saying goodbye to our screens after a touching montage, Twitter was awash with tributes to the man.
