On Thursday night, Liverpool won their inaugural Premier League championship after Manchester City lost to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

With seven games to spare, Jürgen Klopp's side can enjoy the climax of the campaign knowing that they will lift the league title for the first time in 30 years.

Since the game ended in west London on Thursday night, Liverpool supporters and players have taken to social media in vast numbers to celebrate a momentous achievement in the club's modern history.

Last season only a stupendous, era-defining City side prevented Liverpool breaking their Premier League-winning duck while, famously, the club lost the title at the tail-end of the 2013/14 Premier League season when, under Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool lost at home to Chelsea and drew away to Crystal Palace to allow City win their second league title in three seasons.

However, Liverpool have been imperious and peerless in the 2019/20 campaign, winning the title in more ruthless fashion than any other team in Premier League history.

Little wonder, then, that Liverpool players were in such a party mood on Thursday night. On Friday morning, Trent Alexander-Arnold, scorer of that wonderful free-kick on Wednesday evening at Anfield against Palace, posted this video to his 1.3 million Twitter followers and his 4.4 million Instagram followers.

In the video, captioned 'Championssss!!!!' on his Twitter account, the Liverpool squad can be seen dancing jubilantly together to the tune of the 1990s classic, 'Show Me Love' by Robin S, sporting special Liverpool 'Champions 19-20' jerseys while loudly singing along to the song.
