Transfer Talk: Joe Hart looks to be heading for the exit door at Manchester City

The Premier League may have started amid a blaze of apathy on Saturday afternoon, but there is still another two weeks of transfer talk to keep fans entertained.

Joe Hart looks like he may be the first big casualty of Pep Guardiola's reign at Manchester City. The England goalkeeper was dropped for City's 2-1 win at home to Sunderland in place of Willy Caballero.

According to the Daily Record, Guardiola is looking to bring Portugal's Euro 2016-winning goalkeeper Rui Patricio to the Etihad Stadium. Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen remains another option.

It looks like Cristiano Ronaldo will not be leaving Real Madrid any time soon. That is, at least according to UFC Champion Conor McGregor. The two men famously met earlier this summer as McGregor continued his preparations to face Nate Diaz.

In a conference call ahead of UFC 202, AS report that McGregor claimed that he would find it difficult to overtake Ronaldo in Forbes' rankings as "he's just signed a new contract with Real Madrid but we'll see, maybe next year I'll have him!"

Crystal Palace are still hopeful of signing Liverpool's Christian Benteke, but will focus on Andy Carroll if they cannot buy the Belgian. The Sunday Express claim Carroll is looking to leave West Ham, after Andre Ayew's arrival at the Olympic Stadium.
