Transfer Talk: Everton close in on Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony

Well this is strange, isn't it? A world post-Pogba. Rumours, that is. How ever will we survive without updates from the Frenchman's proposed move to Manchester United now that he's comfortably settled in?

We'll manage. So let's skip across the city to Pep Gaurdiola's turf where it appears he's preparing for the departure of one of his strikers.

Wilfried Bony looks destined for the Manchester City exit this summer, with suitors lining up to offer a way out for the Ivory Coast attacker.

The Sun report that Everton are looking to take the striker Goodison Park, should Romeulu Lukaku complete a proposed move to Chelsea. It's very much a like-for-like replacement but would cost them significantly less than the Belgian, with £15m the proposed fee.

Ronald Koeman sees the 27-year-old as a natural fit into the squad and is hoping a team which will challenge for European football this season.

Elsewhere, Sunderland are looking to offer Norwich striker Steven Naismith a route back to the Premier League.

According to The Star David Moyes is preparing an £8m switch for his fellow Scot, whom he originally took from Rangers to Goodison Park during his tenure at the Merseyside club back in 2012.

The 29-year-old scored 18 goals in 103 games for Everton before joining Norwich eight months ago. The Scotland international has already committed his future to Norwich but a return to the English top-flight might be too much to turn down.

Finally this morning, Borja Baston looks set to become Swansea City's record signing after the Welsh side agreed a deal with the Atlético Madrid striker.

The 23-year-old scored 18 goals last season in La Liga with Eibar and now looks set to make the switch to the Premier League for a fee around £15m.

The Express report that he will undergo and medical and will be available for selection come for their opener against Burnley.
