Transfer Talk: Conte wants Chiellini to join Chelsea revolution

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has had a tremendous start to life as Chelsea manager.

The former Italy boss has seen his side win their opening two league games, with only goal difference separating them from the top of the table. It looks like he wants to raid the Italian national team for some reinforcements.

Giorgio Chiellini has worked with Conte at both club level and international level. The Juventus defender has never played for a team outside of Italy, but it looks like Chelsea are willing to tempt the 32-year-old to London.

The Sun claim that the Juventus defender is top of Conte's wishlist, as he looks to bolster his defence ahead of the start of the season. Despite his age, Chiellini could cost €25million.

Despite being linked with Shkodran Mustafi for most of the summer, it looks like Arsenal's pursuit of the Valencia defender is coming to a close. Arsene Wenger is unwilling to match Valencia's valuation of the player, with the La Liga side unwilling to budge on the price.

Despite only winning one point from their opening two league games, the £50million price-tag on the former Everton defender is putting Wenger off any potential deal, according to the Daily Mirror.

Everton remains the most likely destination for Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart. The England international has been sidelined at the Etihad Stadium under new manager Pep Guardiola, as Barcelona keeper Claudio Bravo looks set to join.

The Liverpool Echo has claimed to Hart will move to Goodison Park, once Barcelona buy Ajax's Jasper Cillessen. If Hart joins he will battle it out with fellow new signing Maarten Stekleenburg for the goalkeeper's jersey.
