Transfer Talk: Are Everton about to swoop for one of Portugal's Euro 2016 stars?

He was one of the stars of Portugal's Euro 2016 triumph, and it looks like Everton want to get their hands on William Carvalho.

The Sporting Lisbon midfielder would be thought to cost Ronald Koeman's side around £30million according to The Mirror. He could be the second player to join the Goodison Park club from the Portuguese giants. They are also interested in goalkeeper Rui Patricio.

Alvaro Morata's return to Real Madrid could be short one. The Champions League winners bought Morata from Juventus this summer as part of a buy-back clause, but may re-sell the striker at a profit.

Marca claim that Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is in regular contact with the player assuring him of a role in London. Real seem unwilling to sell, but that could easily change if the price is right.

He may have won the Premier League title with Leicester City last season, but Nathan Dyer does not want to return to the club this year. The midfielder was on loan from Swansea City, but he wants to force his way back into the Welsh team.

"I am contracted to Swansea, so as far as I know I am going to be here unless the manager tells me otherwise," said the winger... I am focusing 100 per cent on playing for Swansea. I want to come back and play here. I don't want to leave — that's a no-brainer for me", Dyer told the South Wales Evening Post.

Arsene Wenger is preparing to make a double swoop, as he hopes to reinforce his defence ahead of the new season. The Sun claim that the North London side are about to make a move for Manchester City's Jason Denayer and Borussia Dortmund's Matthias Ginter.

The two players would be expected to cost Arsenal less that £25million and should reinforce the defence ahead of the new campaign.
