Toronto FC have made a dream come true for one of their most ardent young supporters by signing him to a one-day contract.
Murphy Malone has undergone multiple heart surgeries to correct his diagnoses of Transportation of the greater arteries, according to the club's official website.
The youngster has spent a long time in and out of hospital and never took off his Toronto FC kit. His dedication to the club has ended with the reward of training with his favorite players and getting the chance to tog out with them against the Seattle Sounders on Saturday. Malone took part in training on Friday.
