Sue Ronan's side proved that their 5-0 win away to Montenegro was no fluke as they fired nine past them at Tallaght Stadium this evening.
Stephanie Roche and Áine O'Gorman were the hat-trick heroes this evening and goals from Megan Connolly, Louise Quinn and Fiona O’Sullivan rounded off a record-equalling evening for the side - their victory away to Malta in 2003 was the only other time they had scored nine times.
It took just 90 seconds for Connolly gave the home side the lead, before Aine O'Gorman got her first goal of the night on 11 minutes.
Roche knocked her first of the game past Ines Obradovic on the stroke of half time before Ireland found another gear in the second half.

Two goals in five minutes after the restart won O'Gorman a match ball, before Louise Quinn got her only the goal of the game on 62 minutes.
Roche put the gloss on a stellar performance with goals in the 62nd and 69th minute to complete her hat-trick.
Fiona O'Sullivan rounded off the scoring in the 83rd minute with the ninth and final goal of the evening.
Ronan's side now just have one more qualifier to put to bed, they face Portugal in September.
