Sparta Prague have taken the unusual step of telling two of their stars to train with the club's women's team, after the duo publicly ridiculed a female assistant referee after a league game last weekend.
The Czech giants finished second in last season's First League, and drew last weekend 3-3 with Zbrojovka Brno. After the game, goalkeeper Tomas Koubek and midfielder Lukas Vacha both said that women should not be allowed officiate in men's games.
Vacha went as far to tweet a picture of the assistant referee in question, simply writing "the stove".

The actions of both men has not been welcomed by the club, with the internationals being told to train with the women's team for a number of days. Last season Sparta's women's team also finished second in the Czech top tier.
According to the BBC, Sparta Prague chief executive Adam Kotalík called the remarks "unacceptable". Kotalik added that the duo "will see for themselves that women can be handy not only at the stove".
