Liverpool great Graeme Souness reckons his old club are the better team going into this evening's game with old rivals Manchester United.
Both sides go into the match as Premier League title contenders, although it is Liverpool who can go joint-top with Manchester City and Arsenal with victory.
A win would put United level with Liverpool on the cusp of the Top Four.
Souness told Sky Sports News that Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool should be considered favourites tonight.
"If I could be a neutral, which obviously I'm not, standing back I just think maybe the tables are turning between those two clubs," he said.
"For 25 years, maybe more Man United have been fabulous, won a hell of a lot. But if you're looking at the two groups of players and where the momentum is right now, you're saying Liverpool."
Meanwhile, Man United great Paul Scholes was critical of his former club's summer spending and expects Liverpool to come out on top.
"If you were betting, you would be betting on Liverpool," he told BBC Sport.
He also suggested that United appear to a lack a playing identity at present.
"He was not ruthless enough in the off-season. There is so much confusion about who should play.
"What I saw of Mourinho at Chelsea, he had 13 or 14 players who played every week. He never rested players even in the League Cup or whatever competition he was in. With United it is still a settling-in period - it is going to take a bit of time for them to knit together and see what they are about.
"Is there an identity to the team yet? I don't think there is."
