Sons shines as Kane sparks goal downpour

Four goals from Harry Kane and a brace from Son Heung Min have helped Tottenham to a 6-1 win over last season's Premier League champions Leicester City.

Kane scored four times to take his tally of league goals to 26 goals for the campaign.

Meanwhile, Son Heung Min continued his fine season with Spurs' two other goals in a comfortable win for this season's runners up.

Kane gave Spurs the lead on 25 minutes when Son raced down the right hand byline and pulled it back for the advancing England centre forward to find the net.

Son then found the net in his own right following an Alli assist on 36 minutes.

Leicester pulled a goal back after half time through Ben Chilwell from just inside the box.

But the floodgates then opened for Tottenham, who stretched their advantage.

Kane scored his second on 63 minutes after nodding in a headed pass across goal before Son added another eight minutes later.

Kane completed his hat-trick with two low strikes from range to leave the scores at 6-1 and secure second place for Tottenham.

It's Tottenham's highest finish in the league since the 1961-62 season when they finished second, two years on from claiming the league and FA Cup double in 1962-63.
