Sean Maguire has extended his contract with Preston North End by a further two years, keeping him at Deepdale until 2023.
The club confirmed the news in a statement on Friday evening.
Maguire, who has been capped for Ireland on eight occasions, announced his delight after penning the new deal.
"It was a very easy decision to sign. I have loved my last three years here at the club; playing out here at Deepdale and away from home with the following, we take with us and the fans have made a massive impact on the decision I have made," Maguire said.
"I love the lads, the manager and the staff and I am absolutely delighted to get it done."

Maguire has scored 18 goals in 96 appearances for the Lilywhites since joining from Cork City in 2017.
He will look to add to that tally in the coming weeks as Preston's league duties begin on September 12th.
Preston manager Alex Neil was similarly buoyant about Maguire's decision to extend his contract and tipped him to improve in the coming years.
"Last season, Sean probably didn't score as many goals as he would have wanted, but I don't think his goals were reflective of his performances," the former Norwich City boss said.

"He's doing what we ask him to do and he's working hard every day. Providing he's doing everything that he can do to play as well as he can, that's all you can ask of a player."
"One thing I will say about Sean is that he gives you everything every day. He's been a terrific signing for us and I'm obviously very glad he's extending his stay."
Preston kick off their league campaign in September, however, it has yet to be determined who they will face on the opening day of the new season. The EFL will announce the full fixture list for the Championship by August 21st.
Preston and Maguire will look to kick on and improve on last season. The club finished in ninth place and missed out on the play-offs as a result.
