WATCH | Dyche gives his TV picks - spoiler: he loves Normal People...

Sean Dyche has given some TV and streaming recommendations during his pre-match press conferences - and it turns out he loves Bridgerton.

The period drama has been touted by our resident tipster Sue Murphy, and it appears she's got a fellow fan in Burnley manager Dyche.

"I tell you what weirdly I got sucked into - I quite like quirky things. As you know, I loved 'Normal People', I thought that was brilliant," Dyche told the assembled press.

"Bridgerton I found was quite amusing; quite twisty, quite odd and quite quirky, and the characters are quite quirky.

"I thought it was pretty decent though. It maybe more of a feminine-type programme, but obviously I've got a big feminine side, everyone knows that.

"So I quite enjoyed that, I enjoyed it. I've got about four left I think."

Dyche

Dyche didn't stop there, as he was on top form.

"Has anyone seen the kids film 'Up'? You know the old man with the glasses on? I swear to you, when we were playing away at Sunderland, a live human version of the man in Up was there and I said to the lads on the staff, "I've got the best one!"

"I was nudging them at the table, he was just literally at the bar and I was nudging them going '[it's] the fella out of Up!'

"Oh my god, they were crying. They were crying. It was the best lookie-likie I've ever had.

"Go around the Premier League and ask every manager 'Do you play the lookie-likie game?'

"If they give you a boring answer, we'll wind them around and slap them with a wet fish and say 'that's for your boring lookie-likies.'
