Happy Harry's Hat-Trick brings Spurs up to second on the table
Today belonged to Harry Kane and his hat-trick which helped Spurs to a 4-0 rout against West Brom moves his side up to second place on the Premier League table - on the back of a sixth consecutive league win.
The stunning performance was the ideal tribute to his newborn daughter Ivy and he could have added a few more goals to mark the occasion.
He was presented with a number of first-half chances, three of which were from close range. The first one just shaved past the wrong side of the post, while Foster palmed the other two away. He went in at the break with one goal to his credit and added the others to complete his hat-trick after the restart.
Now that Chelsea are on the cusp of falling into disaray on account of the fallout with Diego Costa, Spurs could emerge as favourites for the title this year.

No Payet, no problem
Player unrest was the theme of the week and the main protagonist of this mini-saga was West Ham's Dimitri Payet. The Frenchman threw his toys out of the pram after being told he could not move club and that the London side has reportedly refused a bid from Marseille.
The message was simple from West Ham: we don't want to sell our best players. Manager Slaven Bilic went further to say that until Payet was in the right frame of mind to rejoin the team, he would not feature.
How would they get on then without last season's star man? Quite alright, actually.
After a stuttering first half, West Ham were 3-0 win over strugglers Crystal Palace and marked an unhappy return for Sam Allardyce to his old club. Andy Carroll's overhead kick was the icing on the cake.
Fans sang chants criticising the 29-year -old and even an image of him in the stadium needed guarding for fear it would be defaced. It looks like a long way back for Payet now.

English football remembered the passing of former England national team manager Graham Taylor on Saturday afternoon.
Teams from around the country observed a minute's silence before the game and Watford fans held up banners to honour his memory. Aston Villa flew flags at half mast to remember an iconic figure in the club's history.

Is Barton at his best with Burnley?
Questions were raised over Joey Barton's move back to Burnley. The player who had been at the centre of their Championship success with Sean Dyche's side last season left the club to join newly promoted Rangers.
His spell in Scotland ended with a whimper and he was charged by the FA for breaching betting regulations.
After Rangers terminated his contract with the club, Barton returned to Burnley this January and today scored the winner against struggling Southampton.
Barton's relationship with Dyche appears to be a constructive one and the Burnley boss certainly knows how to get the best out of the former Newcastle and QPR midfielder.
With Burnley keen to avoid a relegation battle coming into the final stretch, having players - and leaders - like Barton in the squad will be key to picking up vital points.
