There were some significant results at either end of the Premier League table as Man City drew at home to Middlesbrough and Sunderland recorded their first win of the season.
City's day 'De Rooned"
Man City entertained Middlesbrough looking to build on their wins over West Brom and Barcelona last week. It looked to be going to plan when Sergio Aguero put them 1-0 up just before half time.
Kevin De Bruyne had the opportunity to seal the points late on but missed an open goal when it appeared easier to score.
A minute later Marten De Roon punished City's wastefulness in injury time as Guardiola's side drew in the league for the third time in four matches.
City head to Palace next while Middlesbrough host Chelsea.
Chelsea smash Everton
Chelsea gave Everton a hiding by knocking in five goals and keeping a clean sheet. Goals from Eden Hazard (2), Alonso, Diego Costa and Pedro with the goals for the Londoners.
Everton were never really in the match and head back to Mersyside with tails between their legs although they remain in the chase for a top four finish.
Everton never really got out of first gear because they were never let. Conte's team were relentless and Koeman's men were lucky to keep it to five.
Chelsea travel to Middlesbrough after the international break looking to make it six league wins in a row. Everton entertain Swansea.
Sunderland win a game
"Sunderland win a game", we had to say it twice. A Defoe penalty along with an Anichebe goal gave them a 2-1 win over Eddie Howe's Bournemouth.
Steven Pienaar did his best to make it as difficult as possible by collecting two yellow cards and taking an early shower.
Dan Gosling had given Bournemouth an early lead after converting Adam Smith's cross but David Moyes's men turned it around and join Swansea on five points at the foot of the table.
Palace get burned and West Ham and Stoke draw
Burnley won a five goal thriller against Crystal Palace. The home side raced into the side with goals from Vokes and Gudmundsson.
Wickham and Benteke responded for Palace before Barnes stuck an injury time winner for Sean Dyche's men.
Meanwhile West Ham and Stoke played out a 1-1 draw at the Olympic stadium. A Whelan own goal gave the home side the lead before Bojan levelled things for Stoke.
