Sanchez and Moses to remain with Inter for rest of Serie A season - report

Manchester United striker Alexis Sanchez and Chelsea's Victor Moses will remain at Internazionale for the rest of the current Serie A season.

The original loan deal for Sanchez, agreed last August, was due to expire on 30 June.

However, according to Sky Sports Italia, following negotiations between the two clubs an agreement has been reached that will allow Sanchez to remain for the rest of the Italian top-flight season.

When the original loan deal was struck, Inter agreed to pay €191,500 (£175,000) of Sanzhez's €427,000 (£390,000) weekly Manchester United salary.

The club, which currently lies third in Serie A and eight points behind leaders Juventus, have also extended the loan of Moses from the Stamford Bridge club.

The Chelsea winger was reunited with former Blues boss Antonio Conte when he moved to Milan in January after a loan spell with Turkish club Fenerbache.

The Serie A season is due to finish on 2 August ahead of the resumption of the UEFA competitions.

Whether the two players remain with the club for the remainder of the UEFA Europa League remains unclear.

Inter were drawn with La Liga club Getafe in the round of 16 but the tie will now just be a one-off match played on 5/6 August with the venue yet to be confirmed.

Manchester United are also in the Europa League with their second leg against LASK to be played in the same week.

It is though that the Premier League club will wait a few more weeks before making a decision on Sanchez's future beyond the end of the Italian season.

Meanwhile Achraf Hakimi is due to undergo a medical in Milan on Wednesday before completing his €40 million move from Borussia Dortmund.

The 21-year-old right wing back is set to sign a five-year deal with the Nerazzurri after an impressive two seasons at the Bundesliga club where he scored 9 goals in 45 appearances.
