Ryan Giggs was making his punditry debut tonight with ITV during Poland and Portugal's Euro 2016 quarter-final clash.
Unable to talk about his own uncertain future at Jose Mourinho's Manchester United, naturally England's tournament demise at the hands of Iceland came up and in particular the successor to Roy Hodgson who resigned after Tuesday's unexpected loss.
Interestingly, Giggs suggested the man he assisted at Man United to not too much success as one of the potential indirect replacements as England boss.
His former long-time United boss Alex Ferguson was another name that he listed as those who could help England under-21 boss Gareth Southage if the FA go for an in-house option.
"Hoddle, Venables, Sir Alex Ferguson, Louis van Gaal," said Giggs.
