Roy Hodgson has resigned as England manager after the humiliating 2-1 defeat to Iceland.
His Three Lions side put in a performance of sheer ineptitude to exit Euro 2016 at the Round of 16 stage to one of the least fancied sides at the tournament.

"My contract was always up after the Euros and it's time for someone else to oversee the progress of this young and extremely talented group of players. They've been fantastic and done everything asked of them," Hodgson said as he read out a statement to the press after the game.
"When I arrived I was told that players didn’t turn up to play for their country or that they pull out at the last minute, but I’ve not seen any of that. These players love to play for their country."
The former Liverpool and Fulham manager also spoke on behalf of his backroom staff which includes Gary Neville.
But he also added: "I will look back on the four years with pride. I want to thank the media for the support you have given me.
"I am sorry it will have to end this way but these things happen. I hope you will still be able to see an England team in a final of a major tournament soon."
Hodgson replaced Fabio Capello in 2012 and led England to the last-8 at that year's 16-team tournament.
But his side crashed out of the World Cup at the group stage in 2014.
