Robbie Keane says he is pleased to be in the position that he is regarding the plethora of choices and options as he ponders his next move.
The former Ireland captain and all time record goalscorer has signalled his intention to keep playing at club level, having retired from international football in 2016.
With a multitude of offers on the table from prospective clubs interested in his services, the 36 year old feels under no pressure.
"I'm in a fortunate position that I have a choice that I can sit back and wait for the right one," he told Off The Ball at the launch of Aer Lingus' big North American Sale.
"I'm not under pressure in terms of playing because I have to keep myself fit to play for the Irish national team which was always the key. If that was the case I'd still be playing now.
"But now it's the first time in my career that I can sit back and make a decision based on the family which is a nice thing to have. So that will be the choice that I'll make. It has to be the right fit for me and right for everybody involved. So next month will be a big month of course because a lot of the seasons are over now and pre-seasons will be starting so I'm sure soon enough I'll have a decision."
