Robbie Keane and James McCarthy appear to be on the road to winning the race to be fit for Monday's Euro 2016 opener against Sweden.
The duo missed the warm-up games against the Netherlands and Belarus, and are battling back from a calf problem and hamstring strain respectively.
However, Jonathan Walters is still a doubt with an Achilles injury but he is progressing well.
The squad were given today off for recovery but will undergo a session as normal tomorrow.
