REPORTS | Troy Parrott set for Ipswich loan after leaving Millwall

Troy Parrott is reportedly set to cut short his loan move from Spurs to Millwall, and join League 1 side Ipswich for the remainder of the season.

The Republic of Ireland international - who turns 19 on Thursday - joined Millwall on a season long loan from Tottenham at the start of the 2020/21.

An ankle injury saw his first team debut at the Championship side delayed to November, and while he has played 14 times so far this season, he's yet to score a goal, and has not featured in any of the Lions' last three league games.

With Spurs believed to be unhappy at Troy Parrott's playing time at the Den, The Mail are reporting he's now been recalled by the club - who saw Harry Kane pick up an injury in their recent defeat to Liverpool.

But rather than potentially featuring in the first team under Mourinho, it's being reported he will now link up with mid-table League 1 side Ipswich who are managed by Paul Lambert.

Troy Parrott was unavailable for much of Stephen Kenny's first campaign as Republic of Ireland manager, only returning from injury in time to appear off the bench versus Bulgaria in November for his second cap.
