On Monday night, Cristiano Ronaldo achieved a career landmark during Portugal's European Championship qualifier loss to Ukraine.
While the team suffered a setback on the road towards Euro 2020, the Juventus forward scored his 700th career goal from the penalty spot.
It was also his 95th international goal which means he's inching towards the all-time record held by Iran's Ali Daei.
The 34-year-old has scored more Portugal goals combined than the next two on their all-time top scorers' list. Pauleta sits second ahead of the all-time great Eusebio, although the latter still has a better goals-t0-game ratio than Ronaldo.
Anyway, as we draw closer to the culmination of the initial Euro qualifying phase, we're resurrecting the OTB Quiz.
Quiz
This week's quiz is a test of your knowledge of other top scorers from a total of 30 European nations. We've given one answer away above with Portugal.
And you should know the answer for Ireland easily enough. He's currently on Mick McCarthy's coaching staff if a clue is necessary.
Given how international football has developed in terms of more games being played, a lot of the answers are of a more recent vintage.
However, Italy might surprise you. For one of the most successful national teams globally that has also produced some of the greatest strikers to have ever come into contact with a football, it's somewhat surprising that their all-time top scorer only has 35 goals. He was also at the height of his powers in the 1960s and '70s and never played for the traditional big sides of Serie A.
For a long time, the inimitable Gerd Muller held Germany's record. But that was usurped by the current all-time FIFA World Cup goalscorer.
Without further ado, here's the quiz below. (And if it doesn't display correctly, click here).
