Pressure not pushing down on me, says Pellegrini

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is ignoring speculation he could lose his job this summer.

The Chilean's tactics have been criticised after recent defeats to Liverpool and Barcelona.

Pellegrini was set a target of winning five trophies in five years when he was appointed in 2013, and they have won two since then.

The City boss says he is not bothered by rumours he could be sacked if he does not add more silverware this season.

"I never have any pressure to win the amount of titles and to win the title every year to continue here. I don't feel any pressure, especially from the media. I feel all the pressure when I don't see my team playing the way I like to do it," he said.
