Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been confirmed as travelling to Australia with the squad to their pre-season tour of Australia, Singapore and China.
There had been confusion surrounding Pogba and his availability to travel, following comments by his agent - Mino Raiola - that the Frenchman remains keen to move away from United this summer, amid interest from Real Madrid and Juventus.
However, it appears Pogba will indeed fly out to Australia this afternoon to join a squad the squad that reported back for pre-season duty on 1st July.
Pogba was absent from training this week, following a summer of speculation surrounding his future.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had given Pogba clearance to be absent, but it appears that his future is a headache for the Manchester United manager.
In June, Pogba went on record during a trip to Japan that "now would be a good time to find a new challenge."
This was followed only last week by comments from Raiola that "[everyone] within the club from the manager to the owner knows Paul’s wishes."
He went on to confirm that he and his team are "in the process" of looking to move the midfielder on from a stint at United that began in August 2016.
Solskjaer himself has gone on record to say that he considers Pogba key to his Manchester United project, following a Premier League season that petered out towards the summer.
United's pre-season trip begins with a match against Perth Glory on 13 July, against bitter rivals Leeds United on 17 July, before going to play Internazionale on 20 July.
The tour concludes with a match against Spurs in Shanghai on 25 July.
Solskjaer will be hoping to conclude even more transfer dealings before the end of the tour, to burnish a squad that has already added former Swansea midfielder Daniel James, and England under-21 international Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
