Patrice Evra appears to have buried the hatchet with old foe Luis Suarez after posting his praise for the Barcelona forward on his Instagram account.
The Juventus defender posted a picture of Suarez with the Golden Boot with the caption: "In my Instagram there is 'only love and never hate!! Luis, you're a great player, [he] is the best number 9 Congratulations Luis @ luissuarez9 I love this game !!! hahahaah"

The pair had clashed in the past whilst at rival clubs, Evra at Manchester United and Suarez at Liverpool. The Uruguayan international was charged and found guilty of racially abusing the Frenchman and was ordered to serve an eight-match ban.
Upon his return, Suarez featured at a game at Old Trafford where he refused to shake hands with Evra during the pre-game customs and after the game, Evra celebrated United's victory in front of the striker.
