Pat Fenlon has parted company with Shamrock Rovers with immediate effect.
The news was announced via Rovers' official website and comes with Shamrock Rovers sitting fourth in the Airtricity League and 14 points off top-placed Dundalk. They are also 2-0 against Rovaniemi in the Europa League qualifying round.
Fenlon took over the Tallaght-based club in 2014. Reports suggest that Stephen Bradley has taken over until the end of the season.
The statement reads:
"Shamrock Rovers Football Club wishes to announce that it have parted company with First team manager Pat Fenlon with immediate effect.
"The Board of Directors would like to place on record their thanks for the dedication and commitment Pat has shown over the course of three seasons with the Club.
"Everyone at the club wishes Pat all the best in the future.
"There will be no further comment from the club on this matter.
"A further statement will follow from the club in due course."
