Former Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Ireland full-back Paddy Mulligan does not believe that Tottenham's victory over Manchester City is indicative of their title aspirations.
Mauricio Pochettino's side came out on top against Pep Guardiola's City by a 2-0 scoreline to move within one point of the top.
With the experience of challenging for last season's Premier League title, Spurs are seen as potential winners in 2016-17.
But Paddy isn't so sure as he explained to us on the Rewind podcast.
"I don't [see them as title winners] because they've done this to Manchester City [before]," he said, referencing the home and away victories over the Sky Blues last term.
"But they haven't pushed on. My big concern for Spurs is at the end of last season they just totally imploded. When push came to shove, they did a Mayo on it. When it was there to be won, they couldn't win it and that's the sad part about it.
"I would fear for them until Pochettino and the Spurs players prove that they are ready for the battle for the 38 games. Otherwise they will be also-rans. But let's be clear. They played very, very well yesterday and were well worth the two-goal win - should have been three or four. They outclassed City."
He believes Tottenham must maintain the same intensity throughout the season to go all the way.
