Mick McCarthy has revealed his final 23-man Ireland squad for the opening Euro 2020 qualifiers.
The Ireland manager had named an initial 38-man panel for the Gibraltar and Georgia games last week.
But he has now whittled that down. Newport striker Padraig Amond and Sunderland winger Aiden McGeady are among those left out. Everton midfielder James McCarthy, who has not played this season, also misses out.
However, Luton Town forward James Collins does make the cut. Glenn Whelan, who had received an Ireland send-off in 2018, also maintains his place.
