Michael O'Neill 'flattered' by West Brom link

Northern Ireland boss Michael O'Neill admits he's flattered to be linked with the vacant managerial post at West Brom but says his focus is on his current role.

The Championship club are understood to be keen on speaking to O'Neill as they continue their search for a successor to Darren Moore.

O'Neill insists he's busy preparing for Northern Ireland's upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers next month.

"I am under a long-term contract with the IFA and have two very important games in June, that is where my focus is at the minute."

The former Shamrock Rovers boss has been out of club management since becoming Northern Ireland boss in 2011.

"Of course, club football is always attractive and you can never plan too far ahead in football. It is nice that people recognise the job that you are doing.

"The Championship is certainly a very appealing league to work in.

"When you are looking to step out of the situation I am in, you are always looking at what the structure of the club is and that it is right for me."
