Rory McIlroy and Conor McGregor have been named as two of the top-25 most famous sports stars in the world.
As part of ESPN's World Fame 100, the Irish duo were among the top Europeans on the list, but still have a long way to go to overtake the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. The trio were all in the top-ten.
McIlroy was the third golfer on the list in 14th place, behind Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods. The World number two has "serious global appeal" according to ESPN.
McGregor was named in 25th position on the list, but is not the top MMA star. The position goes to Ronda Rousey in 16th, despite her loss to Amanda Nunes at the end of last year.
The Dubliner is described as a "colourful talker and boaster, which has prompted comparisons to Muhammad Ali", by ESPN.
Rousey is the most famous woman on the list, and is quickly followed by Serena Williams (19th) and Maria Sharapova (23rd). Only eight women make the list in total.
Football's place as the most popular sport in the World, means players dominated the list with 38 of the 100 positions. 13 basketball players and 11 golfers also make the list.
36 countries are represented in the top-100 too, with America providing 35 athletes.
