Kenny Cunningham believes that Manchester United's front five is as good as anyone in Europe - and that they shouldn't be 'held to ransom' over Jadon Sancho.
Sancho to United threatens to be the long-running saga of this window, but Cunningham says that he "wouldn't have any worries" about their attacking prowess, even after they struggled to overcome FC Copenhagen on Monday.
"It is a front five for me, people talk about it being a front four with [Bruno] Fernandes as well, but it is a front five with [Paul] Pogba. I would actually like to see Pogba play 10-15 yards higher up the pitch.
"I would like to see Pogba and Fernandes in contact with each other, closer to that front three where he can get those combinations going there.
"It just requires a little bit of tweaking, perhaps some of the players were struggling with a little bit of physical tiredness from a lot of Premier League games in a short space of time."

As to whether this indicates that United should be upping their offer for Jadon Sancho mainly on the jaded look to their attack, Cunningham warned the club should have a price and stick to it.
"That front five can be as good as anything, going forward. The amount of goals from those [existing] players could be absolutely phenomenal over the years.
"I would take [Sancho], don't get me wrong, he would certainly strengthen them in that area of the pitch. But I wouldn't be held to ransom over him.
"£100m-plus in this market is huge. I like the player, and he gives Solskjaer options up there in terms of being able to rotate that front three. With Mason Greenwood or Marcus Rashford, there would be no drop off.
"At the moment, you put in Juan Mata or Daniel James and you think that they are not at the level of the other players.
"If you can get Sancho for a reasonable price - and a reasonable price for me is between £75-80m - then go and get him. But if Dortmund are playing hardball with £100-120m - if I was Manchester United, I'd say no.
"At centre-half, if they can get another player of quality into that area of the pitch, that is where I would be looking."
