Pep Guardiola and Lionel Messi are set to be reunited via at least two Champions League clashes this season.
Guardiola's Manchester City have been drawn in the same group as French giants PSG, who recently acquired Messi's services.
RB Leipzig and Club Brugge make up the remainder of Group A.
The route to glory was laid out at today's draw held in Istanbul.
Holders Chelsea have been handed an interesting group with Juventus alongside Zenit St Petersburg and Malmo.
After crashing out at the hands of Real Madrid last season, Liverpool have been paired with their city rivals, Atletico.
The reigning La Liga champions knocked Liverpool out two seasons ago.
Jurgen Klopp's side will also meet Porto and AC Milan in what is a difficult group.
Elsewhere, Manchester United will come up against their Europa League final conquerors Villarreal, as well as Atalanta and Young Boys.
Among the other eye-catching group ties will be the Group E clashes of Bayern Munich and Barcelona.
Inter Milan and Real Madrid will square off in Group D.
The competition is scheduled to get underway on September 14th/15th.
