New Nottingham Forest manager Dougie Freedman has suffered a major setback.
Their top scorer this season, Britt Assombalonga, has been ruled out for a year with a knee injury picked up in their midweek Championship win over Wigan.
The striker is Forest's top scorer this season with 15 goals.
The injury leaves the club with just two strikers, and the club remains under a transfer embargo.
