Cork City's winning run was halted by Galway United this evening.
The visitors took the lead in the 59th minute through Conor McCormack but their advantage was short-lived as Stephen Folan responded with a header from a free-kick.
Meanwhile, reigning Premier Division champions Dundalk inflicted a 4-0 hammering against Sligo Rovers, with Niclas Vemmelund, and a hat-trick from Jamie McGrath securing a comprehensive victory.
Ian Bermingham and Kurtis Byrne were on target for St Pat's 2-0 win against Drogheda, while Trevor Clarke and Brandon Miele provided the goals to send Shamrock Rovers to a 2-0 victory over Bohemians at Dalymount Park.
Gary McCabe, along with Ryan Brennan and Aaron Greene put their names on the scoresheet as Bray overcame Finn Harps.
Despite their defeat, Bohemians had some celebrity support this evening.
Writing on his social media channels, the actor Stephen Amell, who plays Oliver Queen(Green Arrow) ion the TV adaptation of the superhero, claimed he was in Dublin earlier today, and looking for pubs that serve Guinness, ahead of the clash against Shamrock Rovers in Dalymount Park.
He was also active online during the game.

There was just one goal in the First Division clash between Wexford and Waterford, with Derek Daly hitting the decisive goal for Waterford in the 50th minute.
Aaron Ashe and Derek Prendergast hit the winning goals for Shelbourne against Athlone Town, while Stephen Christopher and Matthew Whelan gave Cobh a 2-0 victory over Cabinteely.
