"Campeões! Campeões! Campeões!"
There may have still been 11 minutes left when Eder scored the winning goal from outside the box, but that is how Portuguese commentators from Radio Antena 1 reacted when Hugo Lloris was beaten in the French goal.
The Portuguese state broadcaster was live in the Stade de France and threw all impartially of the moth-laden window when the Lille striker's shot found the back of the net.
The commentary has still a long way to go to match the magic moments Gudmundur Benediktsson brought to the tournament but it's still amazing to hear what it means to the Portuguese public to win their first major title.
Both commentators seem in shock by Eder's strike that that can only shout "Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!" as the 28-year-old was mobbed by his team mates.
It's a goal, and commentary, that will live long in Portugal's folklore.
