Last minute penalty helps Celtic edge into Champions League playoff round

Celtic are through to the playoff round for the Champions League group stages but they needed a late penalty from Moussa Dembele.

In fact they needed two penalties to beat Astana of Kazakhstan, having come into the game drawing 1-1 from the first leg away.

Leigh Griffiths converted a penalty kick for Brendan Rodgers' side to make it 1-0 just before the break.

But Astana levelled through Agim Ibraimi just after the hour mark.

But another penalty from Dembele in stoppage time sent the Scottish champions through.

Dmitri Shomko and Igor Shitov were sent off for Astana.
