Jose Mourinho doesn't expect Paul Pogba to last 90 minutes this weekend

José Mourinho cautions that Paul Pogba is unlikely to complete a full game in his first Manchester United appearance since his return to the club.

The French midfielder was unable to line out last weekend due to an enforced suspension carried over from his time with Juventus and although he has trained for over a week, the United boss doesn't anticipate that Pogba will be fit to play for 90 minutes.

"He knows everybody and doesn’t need time to adapt, just time to build his condition and his understanding in the way the team tries to play. I think he is ready to play. Ninety minutes, I don’t believe. A super performance, I don’t believe. But enough to accelerate his integration in the team."

Mourinho added that he has no plans to deviate from his 4-2-3-1 formation to accommodate the kind of playing style that Pogba was use to in Italy.

"We are not going to change the system dramatically for one player. We are not changing to change to five at the back because Juventus played at five at the back. We are not going to do dramatic changes. But there are times in the game where, yes, we have to change details."
