Jose Mourinho says Manchester United's performance in their 1-1 draw at home to Stoke was their best of the season so far.
The Reds failed to take victory at Old Trafford as Joe Allen's equaliser for Stoke left the result a draw.
Mourinho feels his United players do not deserve any blame for missing out on victory.
And he also feels the fact his side had 24 shots and 13 corners shows their attacking efforts.
Speaking after the game, Mourinho believes they could have won convincingly based on the patterns of play.
"I'm very happy with the performance but when the result should be 5-0 or 6-0 and it's 1-1, the happiness disappears. I think it was our best performance in terms of the football we played. I never criticise my players for missing chances," he said.
United dominated possession at a rate of 2:1 as well as having nine shots on target during the game.
