Chelsea legend John Terry chose not to hide his apparent displeasure with last night's coverage of the club's Champions League quarter-final clash with Porto.
Broadcast by BT Sport, the assistant manager at Aston Villa had not gotten too far into the game before he was crying out for Sky Sports to take on the Champions League TV rights.
An unusual gripe, perhaps, it did not go unnoticed that Darren Fletcher's co-commentator on the night may have had something to do with Terry's dismissal.
It may be some years ago now, but John Terry has previously had little trouble sharing his thoughts on Robbie Savage.
A former Leicester City, Birmingham City and Welsh midfielder, Savage is a regular presence across BT Sport's football coverage.
While in the final days of his time as a Chelsea player, Terry memorably seized on an opportunity to respond to some of the criticism he was receiving from a number of pundits in a difficult period.
Replaced at half-time in a 3-0 defeat to Manchester City in August 2015, Terry was urged by Robbie Savage in a newspaper column to accept his fate as a player of diminishing talents.
As he approached his 35th birthday, things just got pretty worse from there.
🗣"I don't take criticism on the chin from players who have played at a really bad level throughout their career, Robbie Savage being one"

In the end, John Terry sought out his opportunity to respond.
Content to take criticism from the likes of Rio Ferdinand, Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville, Terry suggested that "when certain other people speak, maybe not. Maybe I don't listen."
For the journalists gathered, great joy greeted Terry's willingness to speak on.
"When players who have not had a career," he explained, "who have played at a really bad level throughout their career come for people who have achieved what I have achieved in the game.
"With Robbie Savage being one. He's dug me out a couple of times... I'll take it from the Rios, Carraghers and Nevilles. All day long. From others? Nah."
After spending 12 years in the Premier League and playing over 600 career club games, the accusation of Savage's non-existent career was ludicrous.
It remains to be seen whether Robbie Savage, or indeed John Terry, speaks any more on the matter.
