Profit this season currently stands at 29% to a level stake.

We are on a good run with the football bet, with Edinson Cavani obliging during the week by scoring for Manchester United.

Liverpool have been brilliant Premier League champions, but Manchester City are set to reclaim the title this season and Pep Guardiola's side can make a massive statement against the Reds this afternoon.

City have been in excellent form, winning 13 games in a row in all competitions, and nine on the bounce in the Premier League. Ruben Dias has been a game changing addition at centre back and City have been sumptuous in the middle of the park recently; with Ilkay Gundogan a star performer in recent games. City have been able to go on this run without Sergio Aguero, and their last three top flight victories have been achieved in the absence of talisman Kevin de Bruyne.

Put simply, City are showing a consistency that no other team is - and they are a better side than Burnley and Brighton, who have both won at Anfield in recent weeks.

Of course, Liverpool have been decimated by injuries in defence, necessitating Jordan Henderson and Fabinho to be makeshift options. That pair need to play in midfield to support Thiago and give a foothold for proper attacks to be launched.

Jurgen Klopp's men are still a great team - they went 68 games unbeaten at home in the league before their recent troubles. Their wins over Tottenham and West Ham have shown that the spark can surface, but the lethargy which has crept into Liverpool's play has yet to be shaken.

Look, it's tough in this bizarre environment without the Anfield crowd and having matches coming thick and fast in a squeezed calendar. The players are humans, not machines.

Nevertheless, emotion doesn't come into it with Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola would dearly love to earn his first win at Anfield as City boss and I think they have the quality and more importantly, form, to get the job done today.
