During the European Championship, John Duggan brings you a preview and tips for the top football games in association with Paddy Power...

I do think England will have enough for Denmark in the second European Championship semi-final at Wembley.

A record of not conceding a goal in the competition is not to be sniffed at and England manager Gareth Southgate has engineered the perfect blend of steel and silk to silence those who may have doubted his football acumen.

Declan Rice and Kalvin Phillips have shielded the back four, but also allowed Kyle Walker and Luke Shaw to get forward to support the attacking three behind Harry Kane.

Captain Kane is playing in a more advanced position than earlier in the tournament and it was no surprise to see him score twice against Ukraine.

England have always been organised under Southgate, but they now have a midfield and with a bench against Ukraine that contained Jack Grealish, Phil Foden, Bukayo Saka and Jordan Henderson, they have the ability to change a game.

Denmark don't possess such strength in depth.

What they do have is beautiful momentum, progressing through the competition with Christian Eriksen in their thoughts.

The Danes have scored 10 goals in their last three games and when you think about it, they have quality football players, many of whom play in the Premier League.

Kasper Schmeichel, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Andreas Christensen and Thomas Delaney all know the time of day, while Mikkel Damsgaard and Kasper Dolberg add youthful attacking prowess.

They are more exciting under new manager Kasper Hjulmand, but they could be susceptible to pace as the game goes on and England have speedy ball players.

I feel that Denmark need to score first to have a chance.

England are excellent on set-pieces and Harry Maguire scored in the quarter-final against Ukraine. It's not the first time he has found the net in a big game - he did so against Sweden at the World Cup and Poland in a recent qualifier for Qatar.

The Manchester United captain was sent off in Denmark's Nations League win over England at Wembley last year. He will want to atone for that

Denmark have imposing defenders, but they will have a lot on their plate with England's attack and I feel Maguire could pop up from a set piece and send England on their way to a final against Italy.

Football may be coming home. Until Sunday.

Harry Maguire is available at 7/1 to score any time and he might be worth a speculative punt.

Football recommendation: Harry Maguire to score at any time for England against Denmark in the European Championship semi-final in 90 minutes - 7/1

Good luck!
